Tina’s Treasured Thoughts

Gone too long

Wow, what can I say?  I have not posted for a long time.  I have been ohhh so busy.

Lay Witness Missions…. Trips to Alabama, Tennesse, Georgia, and buried my mother a year ago today.   She had her first Christmas with Jesus in her new home this year.

At the moment, I am in the airport in Sacramento, California.  My husband and I have been out here for several days doing a Venture In Discipleship here at a Methodist Church in Hughson, CA.   We stayed in the home of Jean & Marvin Hatfield.  They were the greatest Host family.  We were truly blessed to be there.   This was the second time to ever visit California.   A beautiful part of these United States.

It was just a wonderful experience.  Since the last time I wrote we have built a small home for my grandson in Jenkinsburg, GA and that was very rewarding.   Home for a while and then did two other missions in Illinois and then here to CA and we are on our way home.

I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago for 2 days with a kidney stone in my left kidney.  This was the worst pain I have ever experienced.   I am still not totally over the soreness that goes with that, but am able to keep going.

Well, must go for now.   Talk to you again soon.

I have suffered with kidney stones in the past and know how painful they can be, I really struggled with them for a long time until I thankfully passed them naturally.
