Garage Sale
Now I remember why I don’t have garage sales! I spent so much time preparing for this garage sale and it took all day on Friday getting the tables set up. It was so tiring.
Saturday came and the big rush was in the morning. By noon it started to slow up and then no one came in the afternoon. We closed at 4.
Didn’t make very much money but we did have a good time sitting around, talking and making granny squares.

As a tribute to those bloggers who follow links (remove nofollow attribute from links) in comments and trackbacks I have created a custom search engine to search within blogs that follow links in comments and trackbacks. Hope this will be helpful to bloggers who are in search of posts in their niche to comment on.
I am looking forward to your participation in this project. If you are willing to become a contributor please click on “Volunteer to contribute” link on the Custom Search Engine homepage. By becoming a contributor you can add new blogs to the search engine and apply labels to blogs to refine searches.
If not you can simply contribute by sending in the URLs of the blogs that follow links in their comments and trackbacks section.
Don’t forget to bookmark this custom search engine for your own use.
You can also add this search engine to your google ig homepage and also to your blog! Just visit the custom search engine homepage and you’ll find the links to add them.

The garage sale sounds like a lot of work, but the granny squares would be fun. I haven’t made granny squares in so long.

I love to hear “making granny squares!” I hope I get to see them :-). Sorry about the garage sale. I learned long ago (because I was an avid garage sale buyer) that there isn’t usually much point in having one last into the afternoon. Most garage salers go early to get the good buys.

Eeek. Meant to tell you that I did get the package you sent, and posted it on the update. Where is my brain? I started thinking about garage sales….Thank you so much, Tina, for your help with Share A Square. You know I appreciate you, and your squares are making a big difference.

I know what you mean about the hassles — if you figure out the actual price per hour for your time, it’s hardly worth it, but there IS a great satisfaction in going thru “stuff” and weeding out the parts of your life that are no longer relevant. It’s renewal, in a way, too, as well as a getting-rid-of.
